Your Impact:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to fill the position of Vehicle Fleet Maintenance and Trailer Supervisor. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our vehicle fleet. You will collaborate directly with the fleet management company to oversee preventive maintenance schedules, address maintenance issues promptly, and communicate effectively with operations teams to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of vehicle maintenance, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate efficiently with external service providers. In addition, this candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our trailer fleet, from acquisition to end-of-life management. This includes coordinating the purchase, maintenance, repairs, and DOT compliance of trailers.

Core Responsibilities:

• Ensure all vehicles comply with regulatory requirements and maintain up-to-date records of inspections and certifications.
• Manage relationships with body shops and external service providers to facilitate efficient repairs
• Coordinate and manage regular DOT inspections for trailers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, oversee maintenance repair processes for trailers, collaborating with the maintenance team and external service providers.
• Directly manage an employee, providing leadership, guidance, and support, delegate responsibilities to ensure efficient operation of the maintenance and repair processes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, including service history, repairs, and updated notes in the system, generate reports on vehicle maintenance status for management review.
• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for vehicles to ensure compliance with guidelines and enhance overall fleet reliability.

• Comprehensive knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
• Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and related technologies.

• Ability to manage a team effectively and drive results.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.

Physical/Work Environment

Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000
