ABOUT THIS ROLE

Designed for rising college juniors and seniors of all backgrounds and majors, the PEAK6 2024 Operator Bootcamp is a highly engaging end-of-summer sprint program that will introduce you to PEAK6 and develop your skills as a leader and future business operator.

This two week educational experience offers an introduction to PEAK6 and our Operator 101 toolkit—business strategy and analysis, leadership, and learning to “think like an owner”. Working with a small team of peers, you will learn how to focus your efforts on the right problems, efficiently bring your ideas to life, quickly test your solutions, and iterate on the insights collected.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

• Two week program analyzing company fundamentals and the environments they operate in to make strategic and operational recommendations

• Case Study site visit to a business in New York City

• Individual company operator recommendation pitches within a given sector

• Group capstone analyzing public company financials and developing a business strategy

• Operator Discussions with leaders across different PEAK6 business units

DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES

• Sessions on Financial Statements, Case Studies, Business Principles and more

• DISC Leadership Assessment to develop personal brand

• Mentorship opportunities with early career PEAK6 talent

• Poker Power Skills Workshop

BOOTCAMPERS SHOULD HAVE

• A graduation date between December 2024 – June 2026

• Availability from August 5-16, 2024

• Entrepreneurial and creative mindset

• Desire and aptitude to lead, motivate, progress and achieve

• Written and verbal communication skills

• Demonstrated leadership experience and ability

• Legal authorization to work in the United States

This bootcamp pays $25.00 per hour.

SALARY RANGE
