Peak Toolworks is Hiring a CNC Milling Machine Operator - 1st Shift Near Marietta, GA
- Setup various type of profile tools and/or saws that require re-conditioning and efficiently provide the re-conditioning services to meet OEM print. Must be dependable, self-directed, focused and willing to be part of a team that is driven to provide best customer service in the industry. Intermediate to advanced blueprint reading. Must have good tooling and machining background.
- Setup and operate any CNC or EDM machine safely and productively.
- Perform first piece and in-process inspections.
- Setup and run manual mills and lathe machines.
- Load and unload parts into machines.
- Work independently.
- Keep area organized and clean.
- Resolve issues with minimal supervision.
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Seeking machinist with 3-5 years of experience; Machinist diploma preferred.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
