PEAK Technical Staffing USA is Hiring a Production Operator, Precision Assembler - 3rd Shift Near Attleboro, MA

Production Operators - 3rd Shift
Hours:
10:30PM - 7:00AM
[Ability to train on 1st Shift preferred. (07:00AM - 03:30PM flexibility within hours available)]
Job Summary:
Production Operators are responsible for a variety of product assembly, inspection, testing, operation of equipment/tools and material/component processing tasks to meet production schedule requirements to the high-quality standards.
Essential Functions:
Safely and efficiently meeting all production work requirements assigned by following operating procedures and work instructions.
Position, align, and attach/assemble integrated components using hand tools, pneumatic & hydraulic presses and resistance welding per assembly diagrams and written instructions.
Perform these processes manually under a microscope using various hand and tweezers that require excellent eye-hand coordination to make miniscule adjustments where necessary.
Trouble shoot problems quickly and efficiently, seeking advice where necessary.
Produce the highest standard of quality products possible in accordance with the company's ISO 9001:2015 procedures.
Visually inspect tiny products throughout the stages of production to identify defective parts; component orientation errors, missing components, or incorrect components.
Initial testing for product conformity.
Assist others to provide an organized and clean workplace including: all areas of the plant, workstations, equipment, walkways and break rooms using 5S procedures.
Participation in and implementation of continuous improvement projects.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
Work with small components at times under 5 mm (0.197 in) in size
Possess strong organizational skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work well as a team.
Effectively communicate, read and comprehend written and verbal instructions and blue prints.
Ability to self-start yet take orders as directed.
Work independently from set-up to operating equipment, working from diagrams and written instructions.
Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods of time.
Consistent and punctual attendance required. Must be available to work assigned shifts and required overtime.
Computer Familiarity.
Ability to sit or stand as required to perform essential functions for the entirety of the shift.
Required Skills:
-Ability to work with microscopes for the entirety of the shift.
- Precise hand eye coordination , and ability to make tiny adjustments to components using s mall hand tools such as pliers and tweezers .
-Ability to read and comprehend assembly diagrams, drawings and blueprints and written instructions in English.
-Ability to trouble shoot problems quickly and efficiently, seeking advice where necessary.
-Ability to work overtime as needed.
Additional Information:
* U.S. Citizen or U.S. Naturalized Citizen or U.S. Permanent Residency is required for this position.
