**Job Title: Gymnastics Xcel Head Coach**

**Position Overview:**

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Gymnastics Xcel Head Coach to lead our Xcel team. As the lead of the Xcel program, you will work under the guidance of the Team Manager and ownership, operating autonomously while collaborating closely with our coaching team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to creating a positive and enriching gymnastics experience for our athletes, preparing them for success both in competitions and in their personal growth as gymnasts.

**Responsibilities:**

- Lead and manage the Xcel program, including planning and implementing training sessions, setting goals, and monitoring progress.

- Provide high-quality coaching to athletes of varying skill levels, focusing on skill development, technique, and performance.

- Foster a positive and supportive team environment, promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and mutual respect among athletes and coaches.

- Providing guidance and support to athletes and team coaches during competitions.

- Collaborate with the coaching team to ensure consistency in coaching methods, training techniques, and program development.

- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and staff, providing regular updates on progress, performance, and program-related information.

- Stay current with industry trends, coaching techniques, and safety guidelines, continuously seeking opportunities for professional development and growth.

**Qualifications:**

- Previous experience coaching gymnastics, with a focus on the Xcel program preferred.

- USA Gymnastics Professional Membership and Safety Certification required.

- Strong knowledge of gymnastics skills, techniques, and training methods.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes.

- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in team management and program development.

- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed, particularly during competition season.

- Ability to travel to gymnastics competitions, both locally and regionally.
