Description

Highlands Ranch Dental Group, a busy and established family dental practice, located at S. Colorado Blvd. and S. University Blvd., in Highlands Ranch, CO, is currently looking for a full-time experienced EDDA/Dental Assistant. We work Monday through Thursday and might add 1 (short) Friday per month, in the future. We are a patient-driven practice, with one doctor, and pride ourselves on strong communication and teamwork. 

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting Dentist throughout procedures by providing the best clinical and non-clinical experience to each patient
• Sterilization of all dental and medical instruments
• Daily set up and organization of instruments needed for procedures throughout the day
• Capturing diagnostic radiographs
• Takes impressions
• Makes temporary crowns
• Review of patient health history
• Organization and sterilization of the operatories
• Assisting with lab tasks and procedures
• Chairside assisting
• Using Denticon to update patient records
• Scheduling patient appointments

Requirements

• EDDA Certification is preferred
• Knowledge of dental software (Denticon) is preferred but not required
• Strong customer service skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to be coached, and given direction, and work well in a team environment
• CPR-BLS
• Xray Certification
• 2 or more years of dental assisting experience is required
