At Sealy Kids Dentistry, we know that healthy smiles that last a lifetime must be nurtured in a child's youngest years. As one of the few comprehensive pediatric dentistry practices in the area, we take pride in knowing that our team plays an essential role in the oral health of the area's youngsters. We are growing and seek to add a full-time Dental Assistant to our patient-centric, dentist-led team. A fantastic board-certified Pediatric Dentist leads our Pediatric squad, and we work hard for each other and our patients.
The ideal Dental Assistant will be comfortable working in a pediatric setting, have one to two years of experience, and be familiar with coronal polishing and sealants. Our practice has been serving pediatric patients in Sealy for over twenty years. We offer a wide range of dentistry to keep our kiddos happy and healthy. Our Dental Assistants are a crucial part of our team and work hard to provide the best care and communication possible to make our patients feel comfortable and help keep them calm.
The Dental Assistant will work full-time Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Checking patients in, seating them in the chair, and recording any changes in health history
Assisting with taking x-rays, updating charts and clinical notes
Dental instrument sterilization, breaking down the rooms, and keeping patient areas clean and sterilized
Updating patient notes in Denticon, our patient management system
Supply ordering, keeping shelves stocked and organized
Assisting with hygiene and performing coronal polishing when needed
Additional duties as required, assigned by the clinical team lead
