Description :
My Dentist , located in Westminster, CO, is adding days to our doctor's schedule, and we are looking for a part-time EDDA / Dental Assistant to support him on Wednesdays and Thursdays .

We are looking for an outgoing people person who is self-motivated and enjoys working as a team.
Responsibilities / Skills :
- Welcome patients into the office
- Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Assist the dentist chairside
- Capture diagnostic radiographs
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Schedule appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
- Comfortable working with adult patients
- Comfortable with placing Fillings
- Comfortable taking Impressions
- Experience fabricating Temp Crowns

Requirements :
- 1 years of chairside experience within the past two years is required
- Xray certification
- Invisalign experience
- EDDA certification is preferred
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred
- Additional certification or training is an asset
- Denticon experience is a plus but not required
- Bilingual in Spanish is also plus but is not required
Compensation details : 19-22 Hourly Wage
