Overview:
Peacock Partnership, Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Administrator to join our team. As a Construction Administrator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating construction projects. You will work closely with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure the successful completion of projects. If you have a strong background in construction and excellent organizational skills, we encourage you to apply.
Duties:
- Coordinate and oversee projects from start to finish
- Review project plans, specifications, and schedules, submittals, pay applications, change orders, and RFIs
- Collaborate with owners, contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Conduct site visits to inspect work quality and conformance to contract documents
- Manage project documentation, including permitting, submittals, RFIs, change orders, pay applications, and punch lists
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
Experience:
- Proven experience in architecture, construction administration, construction management or related field
- Knowledge of architecture, submittal review, RFI's, pay applications, change orders, pay applications, punch lists, construction processes, materials, and techniques
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using computer software including CAD, MS Office applications, and construction management
