Job Description:
As a Commercial Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks at commercial properties, including offices, retail spaces, and industrial facilities. This position requires rigorous movement, driving, detailed work, bending, reaching, and a lot of movement throughout the shift, which typically lasts 9 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cleaning Tasks: Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces in accordance with company standards and client specifications.
2.Restroom Maintenance: Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures, walls, baseboards to ensure they meet our high hygiene standards.
3. Floor Care: Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, and carpet cleaners to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors.
4. Trash Removal: Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas, ensuring proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials when necessary.
5. Window Cleaning: Clean windows, glass doors, and other glass surfaces using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools.
6. Specialized Cleaning: Perform specialized cleaning tasks as assigned, such as high dusting, ceiling vent cleaning, and upholstery cleaning.
7. Equipment Maintenance: Properly maintain and care for cleaning equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition at all times.
8. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries while on the job.
9. Client Communication: Communicate with clients and supervisors to address any concerns or special requests regarding cleaning services.
Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy objects, bending, stooping, and kneeling for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license required for traveling between job sites.
