What You’ll Do

The Community Relations Director (CRD) leads the sales and marketing initiatives. The goal is to increase/maintain occupancy. The CRD supports the financial success of the community, representing the company's culture and values, developing strategic marketing plans, and role-modeling extraordinary customer service. The CRD builds relationships with future residents, families, team members, vendors, and the greater community.

As Community Relations Director, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

  • You will have overall responsibility for the sales and marketing process, working collaboratively with members of your leadership team.
  • You will make sales calls, schedule educational presentations, and coordinate marketing events.
  • You will do outreach to nursing homes, physician offices, and other health care professionals.
  • You will guide, train and support team members to serve as a backup in taking inquiry calls, giving tours, and providing customer service as needed.
  • You will maintain a working knowledge of federal and state regulations.
  • You will prepare reports as required and develop strategic marketing plans.
  • You will model the Compass Senior Living values of goodness, loyalty, faith, and fun as a representative of your community.

  • You will meet all health requirements as specified by state and/or federal regulations.
  • You will be able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • You will bring a valid driver’s license and pass a criminal background check.
  • You will have the ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.
