Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Specialist to join our team. The Parts Specialist will be responsible for managing inventory, assisting customers with their parts needs, and ensuring timely procurement of parts. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Assist customers in identifying and procuring the correct parts for their automotive needs
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, providing product information, and resolving any issues or concerns
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks
- Collaborate with the demand planning team to forecast parts needs and ensure adequate stock levels
- Utilize AS400 system for data entry, order processing, and tracking
- Coordinate with vendors to obtain pricing information and negotiate favorable terms
- Collaborate with the automotive service team to ensure timely delivery of parts for repairs and maintenance
- Conduct research on new parts and suppliers to expand product offerings
- Perform basic mechanical tasks such as inspecting parts for quality and compatibility
- Assist in auto body repair projects as needed

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with customers
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive parts
- Proficient in data entry and utilizing computer systems such as AS400
