Peachtree Gym is hiring a USAG Competitive and Precompetitive Gymnastics Coach.

Peachtree Gym is passionate about teaching strong gymnastics technique in a warm, creative, and supportive environment. We desire for our instructors have upper-level or collegiate-level gymnastics experience. Located in the heart of Buckhead on the campus of Peachtree Church, we offer classes for ages 18 months – 18 years in preschool gymnastics, school-age recreational gymnastics, various levels of tumbling, competitive gymnastics (USAG levels 2 – 5), and recreational cheer.

We seek the following expertise:

• Ability to create a positive gym environment that provides a balance of warmth, firmness, support, and creativity
• Ability to lead Precompetitive and Competitive Gymnastics groups
• Ability to spot skills at a USAG Level 5 (or higher is desired)
• Must be confident teaching small and large groups in a gymnastics setting
• Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills
• Physically fit and able to maintain physical activity for prolonged periods of time
• Must be responsible and have reliable transportation
• Must complete a background check
• Must provide one personal and one professional reference
• Minimum two years of coaching experience
• High school education or equivalent. Bachelor’s Degree or enrollment in advanced Degree Program is preferred but not required.

Days/Times:

• Winter/Spring practices range from 3:30 – 7:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Three Saturdays a month 8:00 - 10:00 a.m.
• Summer practices are weekdays only 3:30 - 7:30 p.m.
• Morning and afternoon Recreational class and private lessons are available too

Working days:

Upon hire, you will get to collaborate on the summer and fall training schedule for your team athletes. USAG 2 - 4 compete August - December. 5 to 7 competitions in total.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 16 per week

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Weekends as needed
