Job Overview: We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Cashier. As a Host/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to operate the Aloha POS system. Duties: - Greet guests as they arrive and seat them at their tables - Provide menus and answer any questions about menu items - Take food and beverage orders accurately - Enter orders into the Aloha POS system - Process payments using the POS system - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/cashier station - Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests - Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints - Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth operations Skills: - Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor - Proficiency in operating the Aloha POS system or similar restaurant POS systems - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests, waitstaff, and kitchen staff - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of proper phone etiquette for taking reservations or handling guest inquiries - Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or food service establishment is preferred Join our team as a Host/Cashier and be part of creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.
