We're looking for a talented dog trainer that would like to supplement their income as our substitute trainer for our board and train program. This position will serve as a "relief" trainer for days that a member of our training team may be on vacation or otherwise unavailable, so this role would work best for someone with a flexible schedule as some opportunities may be short-notice. Additional opportunities and room for growth will likely be available over time.

You will be responsible for working with our rotation of 7-9 board and train dogs at our facility in the Alpharetta area, from 9am-4pm (with a break mid-day!) and handling any client communication while you're working.

Requirements:

- CPDT-KA certification or similar (or willing to sit for the test at the next exam period)
- A commitment to LIMA/reward-based methods
-At least 1 year of professional dog training experience in a role working with clients and dogs
- Ability to handle and work efficiently with a variety of dogs
-Excellent communication skills
- Monitor and assess the progress of dogs during training sessions, adjusting techniques as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions and progress reports.
