Peaceful Pines Senior Living is committed to providing exceptional care and service with compassion. Our community offers a total of 30 independent living units, 29 assisted living units, and 32 memory care units located in the beautiful Black Hills.

As a Caregiver or Resident Care Aide at our facility, you will be responsible for assisting residents with daily living tasks including eating. The ideal candidate understands that each resident has a unique story to learn from, requiring patience, kindness, and empathy. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:

• Ensures the well-being and protection of every resident through the delivery of high-quality care.
• Promotes and supports a positive work environment focused on team building and collaboration.
• Maintains confidentiality of all pertinent personal or health information concerning residents and staff.
• Assists residents with feeding and providing snacks; encourage water intake and supplements as appropriate.
• Answers pendant system/call lights promptly to determine and assist with residents' needs.
• Aids with daily living activities that may include, but are not limited to, grooming, walking, transporting, recording vital signs, and providing psycho-social support and other personal cares.
• Documents the outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and diet.
• Communicates changing health conditions, and care-related concerns/responses to the nursing leadership team.
• Prepares dining room for meals, serves meals, and cleans up dining room after meals.
• Adheres to OSHA and CDC guidelines for infection control techniques.
• Other duties as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

CNA or UMA licensing is not necessary but preferred. We provide free training for these certifications!

COMPENSATION:

• Full-time position working 2 eight hour shifts and 2 twelve hour shifts Mon-Thurs each week
• $14.00 - $19.00 DOE
• Resident Care Aides $14.00-$15.00/hour depending on experience
• Paid CNA and UMA Training, pay ranges $15.00-$19.00/hour depending on experience with certificates

Must be able to pass a background check.
