QUALIFICATIONS:
Maryland Medication Technician License Required
High School diploma/GED
JOB SUMMARY: In accordance with facility policies and procedures, our Medication Technicians are responsible for providing the highest degree of quality care and services by administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates and administers medication to nursing home residents and provides supervision and guidance to clinical staff members
Administer medications to residents according to the prescribed dosage and schedule.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of medication administration.
Monitor residents for any adverse reactions or side effects and report findings to the nursing staff.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed
