Job Summary :

The Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) Instructor will instruct students according to the curriculum designed to assist students to build knowledge and clinical skills aimed at passing the licensing exam for Maryland CNA.

Assist students in registering for the Maryland State GNA licensing exam. The instructor must possess the ability to work with students from different backgrounds.

The training program shall provide a minimum of 100 hours of instruction. 60 Hours shall be devoted to didactic instruction and classroom Laboratory practice .

40 Hours shall be devoted to clinical training experiences in a clinical facility. *This is a contractual position with potential full time availibility.

The duration of the contract will be for the duration of the class and completion of learning and related licensing items.*

Qualifications :

• RN or LPN License : Active RN or LPN license in the state of Maryland.
• Teaching Experience : Previous experience in teaching or instructing CNAs or related healthcare courses preferred.
• Passion for Education : Genuine enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring future healthcare professionals.
• Excellent Communication : Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities :

• Lead Instruction : Develop and deliver engaging and informative lessons in accordance with the CNA curriculum.
• Practical Training : Provide hands-on training and demonstrations to ensure students gain essential clinical skills.
• Assessment and Evaluation : Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Support and Guidance : Offer guidance and support to students to foster a positive learning environment and encourage their success.
