Do you have a passion for working with adults/children with special needs? We support individuals with intellectual and or developmental disabilities throughout Washington, Clackamas, and Marion County. We DO NOT DO ANY PERSONAL CARE, as we provide supports for the individuals to ensure they learn to be as independent as possible. This could a verbal coaching, cues, modeling, etc.

$1.00/hour pay raise upon a successful 90 day probationary period.

We are looking for a full-time provider to help us grow and who want to see individuals reach their goals.

Support Services:

• Work with supported individuals 1:1 as well as in small and or in large group settings.
• Follow the supported individual’s ISP by providing services which help support the individual attain their goals. Discuss goals and services with supported individuals as needed.
• Keep detailed and accurate progress notes of all services employee provides to the supported individuals, the effect of those services, and any observations for PDXconnects submittal to Brokerages.
• Act as a positive role model to the supported individuals.
• Develop safe, supportive relationships
• Assist and maintain a clean, safe, living environment
• Perform personal support as needed
• Preserve the supported individuals dignity, autonomy, and privacy at all times.
• Keep accurate record of hours worked and mileage driven each day–record on time.
• Employee may need to deal with inappropriate behavior by applying ethnic and cultural standards, and agency policy.
• Provide overall support of the supported individual’s needs.
• Transport supported individuals to various outings within the State of Oregon
• Be an active participant in the evaluation process by providing input/feedback, completing honest and fair self-evaluations, and assist in professional development goals

Transportation Support Services:

• Transport supported individuals to various outings within the State of Oregon. Employee must carry valid full coverage car insurance at all times while providing transportation services.
• Employee must document odometer readings and total miles driven in order to be reimbursed for mileage.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Passion for working with adults who experience developmental disabilities.
• Ability to interact professionally with members in the community.
• A minimum of Diploma/GED
• Clean driving record.
• Safe and Reliable Vehicle.
• Valued full coverage auto insurance.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
