We are looking for a responsible Quality Inspector to maintain our standards of quality by approving outgoing material and products as well as production procedures and recording quality results. You will be a firm advocate of quality in our business.
The ideal candidate will have experience in an ISO9001 or AS9100 environment, have significant mechanical inspection experience, possess a trained eye for detail, and will be reliable and committed. In-depth knowledge of quality standards is essential. This position will provide great opportunity to an individual looking to expand their career further with a growing company.
Position Responsibilities:
Read blueprints, specifications, and instructions to determine the quality requirements for the product.
Perform and document First-Article, In-process, and Final Inspections, communicate required adjustments to production personnel, and release finished product for delivery.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
Accomplish quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Position Qualifications:
Working knowledge of GD&T (ASME 14.5-2009)
Working knowledge of welding symbols
Experience in preparing AS9102B First Article Inspections Reports
Proficient with precision measuring instruments
Proven experience and proficiency as a mechanical quality inspector
A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
CMM and/or Portable Arm with PCDMISÂ software experience
ASQ Certification (preferred)
CMM experience
