Career Opportunity in Valley Stream and Queens, NY

PDS Management Services is seeking Certified Orthodontists with talent and initiative to meet the evolving oral health needs of children in the Northeast 2-3 days per week.

  • Associates can consistently earn $1500 - $2000 per day plus bonuses/incentives based on our average daily production due to high patient demand supported through experienced assistants and hygienist.
  • We also offer 401(k) plan, paid time off (PTO), Aflac, Sign-On and Referral Bonuses, and more.

Requirements:

  • Active NY Dental License
  • Active NY Medicaid Number
  • Certification in orthodontics or relevant field.
  • Proficiency in patient assessment, HIPAA regulations, medical documentation, medical terminology, medical records management, vital signs monitoring, medical coding, aseptic technique, CAD software, and medical imaging.
  • Experience with Dentrix, and pediatrics is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments to determine orthodontic treatment needs
- Utilize CAD software to design orthodontic treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations when handling patient information
- Perform medical imaging procedures for diagnostic purposes
- Monitor patients' progress throughout their orthodontic treatment
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records using Dentrix software
- Adhere to aseptic techniques to prevent infections in the orthodontic setting
- Collaborate with pediatric patients to provide specialized orthodontic care
- Stay up-to-date with medical coding practices related to orthodontic procedures
- Possess a valid dental license to practice orthodontics
