Overview
PDS Optical is a SDVOSB Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business that manufactures a very large number of eyeglasses each day. We have Optical Laboratories in Louisville, KY and Fort Lauderdale, FL and manage many optical stores across the US and Puerto Rico. We are looking for an employee who has an eye for detail and the ability to work fast and efficiently to join our team. The Lens Clerk is responsible for pulling the proper lenses according to the prescription and material selected by the customer for each order received.
The shift is Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. The starting pay is $16/hr. We offer 401K options with company match safe harbor, medical, dental and more! No previous experience is necessary, we will provide training.

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
- Fold the paperwork for each tray and sort into lens categories.
- Reads work ticket to determine which optical lenses are needed.
- Locate and pull the proper lenses and place in optical tray.
- Proper tray scan in and out of your area.
- Must learn and retain knowledge of lens types, sizes, colors, etc.
