Here's how a(n) Accountant 3 for our US Head Office office contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
- Performs general accounting and administrative functions.
- Processes corporate credit card statements and employee expense statements.
- Accounts Payable – as assigned.
- Journal Entries – as assigned.
- Communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develops and maintains strong, customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.
- Values and models the solution provider and profitability culture.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related discipline preferred.
- Understanding of accounting principles, including maintenance of ledgers and cash flows.
- Understanding of GAAPs (generally accepted accounting principles).
- Business acumen and understanding of industry practices and new developments, including introductory
- knowledge of construction industry; understands general construction terms and processes.
- Aware of relevant government legislation and PCL policies and procedures.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment in a highly matrix organization.
- Organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with employees at all levels/areas of the organization.
- Ability to act with the required discretion when handling confidential information.
- Demonstrated critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Skills using Microsoft Office Suite and applicable software

Salary for this position is $58,000 to $65,000 depending on experience
