We are the number one agency in South Florida for Florida Blue. We have an outbound call center with inbound calls during high peak times as well as a team of independent agents. We are licensed to sell Blue Cross Blue Shield individual health policies, Medicare, accident, critical illness, life insurance, and employee benefit plans. We are captive to Florida Blue in the under 65 health and over 65 Medicare markets. Job Summary:The primary goal of a contracted licensed agent is to create recent sales and membership across product lines. You will maintain the client and renew annually. The licensed agent will manage their people skills to build a powerful customer base for Florida Blue at Apple Insurance and Financial, a PCF partner. Agents will be exclusive to Florida Blue products for both individuals under 65 and over 65 segments. This position is inside sales, and the agent will be a key contributor in taking prospects through the full sales cycle to close. This role demonstrates a comfort level with change to meet the dynamic, changing business environment through quickly adapting to and adopting changes in the business model to meet critical and evolving business objectives. The agent will primarily be completing outbound calls from a variety of compliant leads and answering inbound prospects determined by our lead distribution system. Duties and Responsibilities:Provide consultative sales and service experience for customers seeking information and education on available products to support health, wellness, and income protection.Perform outbound call campaigns to company generated sales leads.Use web-based tools and sales systems to analyze prospective customer needs and match appropriate company products and services.Conduct plan comparison and analysis for new or existing members seeking innovative solutions.Present and explain recommended products, benefits, features, and alternatives.Perform outbound call campaigns for the individual Under 65 and Medicare Over 65 segments.Complete the entire sales process on a recorded line.Answer inbound calls based on Apple's Lead Distribution protocols.Ensure new customers receive orientations/information regarding self-service and shopping tools, incentives and value-added features and information!Cross-sell multiple product sets to deliver additional value to members and the enterprise.Utilize, telephonic, and electronic methods to respond to customer requests for information, quotes, and/or to process sales.Generate and act upon leads for recent sales and member retention.Update workflow and activity appropriately and compliantly in the CRMEnter and maintain all compliant documents on the case in the CRM.Service all members by resolving inconsistencies, delinquencies, and member requests.Meet/exceed monthly targets engagement work and effectively record, track, and measure the impact to build or adjust future.Complete all company, state, carrier certifications annually and as needed.Other duties as assigned by the manager. Qualifications: Remain licensed, appointed, certified, and trained in all product offerings.Exclusive to all Florida Blue ACA and Medicare products.0-2 years related work experience in an insurance sale environment.Resident Florida 2-15 active compliant Health insurance license or (2-40 and 2-14)Maintain CE compliance including mandatory ethics courses.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and web-based toolsWork flexible hours to include evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by enrollment season.Demonstrated ability to meet/exceed sales targets.Remain licensed, appointed, certified, and trained in all product offerings.Maintain CE compliance, including mandatory ethics courses.Experience with health insurance products to include individual and group plans preferred.Experience in call center operations preferred. Compensation: $17/hourCommission Schedule: Part-TimeMonday- FridayOn-Site
