PCF Insurance is Hiring a Business Support Specialist Near Lehi, UT

Job Summary:The Business Support Specialist will provide general support, system administration and expertise to various areas of PCF in support of Vertafore and Applied systems management and processes, corporate general data management including the M&A acquisition integration process as well as implementation of key organization initiatives. This position will assist with the transition and conversion processes for agencies from older or non-standard software to the PCF Agency Management software. This position will interact with various stakeholders, operate independently on projects, as well as partner in team collaborations.Duties and Responsibilities:Serves as a trusted resource and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Agency Management Systems (i.e., AMS, Image Right, Benefit Point, EPIC, etc.) and third-party integrationsDetects software issues and engages with internal teams in determining resolutionsAnswer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming telephone, voice mail, e-mail, and in-person requests for assistance from usersPartners with the creation and quality assurance of new applications and integrations; handling internal and external escalations of issues that could impact project timelinesCoordinates with internal team(s) to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and to required specificationsPartners in managing master system data, including best practices and standards for creation, updates, and deletionContributes to the planning and implementation of system enhancements, tests plan execution and participates in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionalityEnsures data quality via timely execution of activities to allow operations to continue without delaySupports process enhancements and varied special projects to attain key performance improvements or reduce riskAssists with data conversion and merger activities including ensuring system setups are complete as well as quality and accuracy of data mappingsIdentifies and provides recommendations on efficiency improvementsPlans, monitors, and controls several assigned projects concurrently to effectively use time and project management skillsContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededDelivers ad-hoc training as requiredProvides weekly status reports to managementPerforms other related duties and/or projects as assigned Qualifications:Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills, project coordination experience, and flexibilityStrong technical and analytical skills with the ability to translate technical terms to non-technical end usersSelf-directed, organized, attention to detail, follow-through, critical thinking, and innovative problem-solving skillsAdvanced expertise with MS Office products and other common corporate workplace tools requiredMust be computer literate with the ability to learn new software applicationsAbility to work well with internal/external stakeholders of all levelsSelf-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframesAbility to collaborate with colleagues and deliver high-quality results in a team-oriented environmentEnthusiastic, dependable, and highly motivatedWillingness to adhere to all principles of confidentialityMinimum 3 years’ experience with Agency Management systems, preferably AMS360 and other Vertafore productsBA in related field preferred; or equivalent of education and experience3 years’ experience in the insurance industry strongly preferredCompensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience. Schedule: Full-time. Location: RemoteBenefits: Medical Dental Vision Life Insurance Paid Time Off 401K
