Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with documenting patient encounters, medical histories, and physical examinations.
- Enter patient information into electronic medical records (EMRs) accurately and efficiently.
- Transcribe medical reports, including laboratory and diagnostic test results, physician orders, and treatment plans.
- Coordinate communication between healthcare providers, patients, and other medical staff.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Scribe is preferred.
- Familiarity with primary care.
- Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations.
- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare providers and other staff members.
