Position SummaryPBS Engineers is seeking an IT Support Specialist in our Glendora, CA office to be responsible for the company’s IT Help Desk services in our Southern California and Texas offices. This is job posting is for an onsite, non-remote position.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction within IT standards and guidelines
• Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received from staff
• Monitor IT Help Desk requests via various means and process-in first-out based on priority
• Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the user workstations
• Document internal procedures
• Assist with onboarding / offboarding of users
• Ensure each user has a fully functioning computer and any additional specialized equipment
• Install, test, and configure new and existing workstations, peripheral equipment, and software
• Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment, software, and software licenses
• Report issues to the Senior IT Manager for escalation
• Manage pc setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images, and software
• Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required
• Assist users with setup of video, web, and teleconferences
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required to maintain efficiency and systems performance

Requirements

• • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate certification
  • At least 5 years of relevant hands-on technical experience in an IT Support role in a mid-large environment
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Active Directory
  • Experience with deploying, administering, and troubleshooting Windows10 and Windows 11
  • Familiarity with administering user accounts and software within Microsoft 365 and Azure
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP and related protocols
  • Experience working in the AEC Industry is highly desired
