CPI Terminal Operator The CPI Terminal Operator is a Union Represented position responsible for the safe, reliable, and environmentally compliant execution of tasks assigned by the Shift Supervisor. Terminal Operators are expected to work a rotating shift schedule, including overtime and holidays and or a day work schedule currently working Monday through Friday. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate terminal equipment in a safe and environmentally compliant manner. Initiate work orders and permitting related to all terminal equipment. Effectively communicate important information about product movements, equipment, PMA production and utility department status. Assist with PMA production on a field operator’s level and become board certified within one year. Operate a waste water treatment facility within product quality limits. Operate high pressure boilers and obtain a high pressure black seal within 1 year. Trained as PIC (Person in Charge) Obtain DOT Hazmat Transportation for shipper certification. Load and unload railcars Perform a quality and complete shift handover. Maintain the order and cleanliness of all tank farms, truck rack and utility department. Drive company vehicles, including forklifts, to conduct rounds and move equipment. Regularly climb ladders, tanks, and racks. Other duties as assigned by Management. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Must hold a valid driver's license. Basic computer skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work individually or as part of a team. Must be eligible to qualify for and maintain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC card) or currently hold this ID card. Must be willing to perform/comply with the following: Climbing up to 150 feet in height. Working a 12-hour rotating shift, which includes overtime, weekends, and holidays Working near large, hot, high-speed machines Lifting a maximum of 50 pounds Working around chemicals, including acids and bases Wearing fire retardant clothing and personal protective equipment (such as steel-toe shoes, ear and eye protection) Maintaining your face daily so that a respirator/face mask can seal properly (some examples include being free of facial hair and/or clean shaven) Performing firefighting duties in a defensive operation Working outside in harsh weather conditions Working with petroleum products and chemical that are under high pressure and heat Learning computer software associated with process operations Capable of qualifying on the unit DCS control board Experience in Refinery or Terminal Operations preferred We thank all respondents for their interest in PBF Holding Company LLC (“PBF Energy”), however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
