Job Summary The Associate Administrator, Records & Documents is responsible for assisting Supervisor, Records & Documents in locating, retrieving, and maintaining company global records in addition to work on digitalizing projects. Job Description Follows the records department procedures step by step to locate and retrieve company global records as requested by departments or external parties, using the company's Document Management System (DMS) and other electronic document archives. Follows department procedures for receiving and registering incoming records (both hard copies and electronic) in the company's Document Management System (DMS) and in the offsite vendor storage register when necessary. Prepare physical records for archiving by creating and verifying inventory lists and updating the DMS. This may involve lifting boxes weighing up to 7 pounds. Prepare records for destruction according to the company retention schedule and, when required, interact with the responsible department, legal, and other necessary departments. Transocean owns or has partial ownership interests in, and operates a fleet of 43 mobile offshore drilling units consisting of 24 ultra-deepwater floaters, 12 harsh environment floaters, two deepwater floaters and five midwater floaters. In addition, Transocean is constructing two ultra-deepwater drillships; and one harsh environment semisubmersible in which the company has a 33 percent interest. The company also operates one high-specification jackup that was under a drilling contract when the rig was sold, and the company will continue to operate the jackup until completion or novation of the drilling contract.
