Job Description Summary: What you need to know about the role As the GTM Product Marketing Manager to spearhead our Venmo product initiatives, you will focus on product positioning, customer needs, value proposition and commercialization of Pay with Venmo across merchant segments. Meet our team The Merchant GTM team is dedicated to ensuring businesses of all sizes have access to the most powerful and user-friendly payment solutions available. We focus on understanding the unique needs and challenges merchants face and translating them into compelling product positioning, customer-centric messaging, and impactful value propositions for Pay with PayPal, including Braintree, Checkout, and our ever-expanding suite of innovative payment tools. Job Description: Your way to impact In this role you will work closely with the Venmo product teams to build and roll out new customer centric products, accelerate merchant adoption of Pay with Venmo experiences, and be at the forefront of all Venmo innovation initiatives. You will work closely with Merchant product teams (Checkout, Venmo) and Cross-functional leaders (Sales, Marketing, Risk.). Your day to day Use curiosity and drive to build a deep understanding of what customers care about (end to end), what their motivations are, and how these fundamental needs should translate to compelling experiences that we deliver. Pay with Venmo is a leader in payments and as such continues to spearhead innovative ideas and what Venmo means to people and their money. You will drive discovery and execution of innovative customer propositions. Your “Customer back” thinking and insights driven input into product strategy and development will be a key asset to bringing powerful and efficient products to markets Lead and execute strategic Venmo Initiatives with the objective to drive rapid adoption of Pay with Venmo experiences across the global merchant base Maximize Product adoption through sales, marketing and product, and revenue acceleration. Articulate customer needs and problem statements to the product organization to drive customer centric product development and represent gaps Translate product features into merchant facing value propositions and sales strategies Pilot – Measure – Scale approach to product adoption to gather proof points and maximize product adoption Ongoing product performance monitoring to ensure early detection and resolution of issues along the Venmo XO journey. Translate learnings into recommendations and present to global product leads. Collecting customer voice and customer needs What do you need to bring Track record of experience in B2B product marketing, ideally within payments or financial services industry. Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies, customer segmentation, and messaging development. Proficiency in creating compelling sales collateral and training materials that empower sales teams to close deals. Exceptional written and verbal skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences. Passion about understanding customer needs and translating them into actionable insights for product development. Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving skills, able to develop and execute data-driven go-to-market plans and pivot. Collaborator extraordinaire who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and enjoys building solid relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
