Job Description Summary: The Payments FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) team is a key partner and enabler of the Payments organization managing ~$10B in transaction expenses. The team is responsible for helping the business partners meet key objectives and KPI goals by providing outstanding finance support and business insights. The analyst will play a key role in billing reconciliation, contract performance tracking and management reporting to help day-to-day business decisions and external partner management. Job Description: Responsibilities Support the analytical needs of the Finance team and executive leadership, including building vendor billing reconciliation models, monthly TE dashboard, management reporting, and predictive modeling for PayPal Inc global transaction expense metrics across different entities Manage month end transaction expense accrual models and work closely with accounting team to set up the appropriate month end accrual and track the accrual variances. Create dashboard on key performance indicators, highlight trends and analyze causes of changes. Conduct deep dives when observing abnormal trends and identify potential risks before they manifest Act as the liaison between PayPal and 3rd party vendor to understand ecosystem changes and resolve the billing discrepancies Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, and drive process automation Manage quarterly/annual accounting audit Experience/Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related quantitative discipline; Master’s degree preferred 8 years of experience performing financial or business analytics in the payments, FinTech or e-commerce horizon. Proficiency in SQL and MS Office products, able to work with large data set, and build complex financial models.
