The BE&O team within the GEM&O organization at PayPal is responsible for ensuring all business investments are managed, prioritized, supported, and governed. GEM&O was set up to design, operate and optimize an infrastructure to meet business priorities and regulatory expectations in the jurisdictions in which PayPal does business. The right candidate is a self-motivated individual that can effectively work and communicate collaboratively / cross-functionally with multiple teams located in different geographies. The right candidate must have a hands-on approach, strong planning skills and attention to detail and organization. The Business Enablement & Operations team evaluates, supports, and strategically recommends how PayPal can leverage its funding, resources, and staff to senior leaders to fuel customer growth, protect its customers, and meet regulatory requirements. The team is multi-disciplinary with a broad spectrum of industry experiences and deep analytical business backgrounds at PayPal. The team is currently seeking a high-energy, driven, collaborative employee that brings extensive problem-solving skills to further its goal of applying creative analytical & managed solutions to understand and mature business challenges. This position provides an opportunity to work alongside industry leading professionals in an active and high drive business team. The key objectives of this role would be to: Support overall goals of the Business Enablement team through business operations process support and build-out, planning of priorities, and administrative support of the financial process alongside staff with a broad array of team backgrounds and leadership levels. Collaborate with team members within the greater GEM&O organization to understand how to apply successful business operations processes to a wider and more senior audience to drive success and scaling of financial governance. Primary Job Responsibilities Work closely with project managers, analysts, subject matter experts, and leaders to formulate, create, and support business process & administration of the Business Operations function (vendor, legal, financial, sourcing, etc). Analyze data sets for opportunity, process improvements, and new partnerships to mature reporting processes for a rapidly growing and scaling governing model Develop reporting and priority assessments and present those assessments based on findings in collaboration with corporate finance/procurement, direct and senior leadership. Develop business metrics opportunities for measurement of priorities and operational risk management and business effectiveness of an organization Develop standard operating procedure documents for business processes and engagement models Job Requirements 3 Years of experience in a corporate environment handling or working in a business operation, project management, financial, or procurement role Ability to rapidly learn new concepts (i.e. technical, risk, business) is a critical success factor in this role Ability to translate business asks and needs into actionable plans inclusive of tracking Ability to communicate complex concepts and the results of analyses in a clear, effective manner through creative visualization and presentation Bachelor’s degree program in a discipline like Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Planning, Administration, or Management Proficient working knowledge or willingness to learn business, project management, investment concepts Well versed or willing to learn and work in regulatory, risk, security, and business environments Ideal candidate should demonstrate history of critical and analytical thinking including problem solving, attention to detail, dealing with ambiguity, ability to handle shifting priorities/deadlines and multi-tasking Additional Job Description: Subsidiary: PayPal Travel Percent: 0 Our Benefits: At PayPal, we’re committed to building an equitable and inclusive global economy.
