Job Description:

As an Express Lane Service Advisor at our Chevrolet dealership in Weslaco, Texas, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service for their quick vehicle maintenance needs. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the flow of customers coming in for services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and other express maintenance services.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Management: Greet customers as they arrive at the express lane and promptly assist them with their service needs. Build rapport with customers, address their concerns, and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
• Service Recommendations: Conduct vehicle inspections and recommend appropriate maintenance services based on manufacturer guidelines and customer needs. Inform customers of any recommended services, explaining the benefits and urgency, and secure approval for additional work as necessary.
• Scheduling and Coordination: Efficiently schedule appointments and manage the workflow to ensure timely service for each customer. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize tasks and optimize service efficiency.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately document service requests, vehicle inspections, recommended services, and completed work in the dealership's computer systems. Maintain organized records for future reference and follow-up communication with customers.
• Customer Follow-Up: Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and address any post-service concerns. Build long-term relationships with customers by providing personalized attention and proactive communication.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other service advisors, technicians, and support staff to maintain a cohesive and efficient service operation. Communicate effectively with team members to address customer needs and resolve any service-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in automotive service, customer service, or sales roles preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair services.
• Proficiency in computer systems and software applications.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
