Paycom Payroll Llc is Hiring a Learning and Development Business Partner Near Oklahoma, OK

The Learning and Development Business Partner is responsible for working closely with key stakeholders on the creation and evaluation of Learning & Development programs and initiatives related to companywide training as well as support for individual business units. This individual will act as a lead project manager for internal and/or client training initiatives and deploy and evaluate our ongoing internal and/or client training solutions.

This individual will engage with subject matter experts, stakeholders, content creators, learning professionals and leadership, managing projects from discovery to delivery. This requires a strategic mindset and a strong ability to build relationships, conduct thorough interviews, and recommend solutions through a consultative approach.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a strategic partner to assigned business units as the Learning & Development lead liaison being active in their daily business operations with a strong and continuous understanding of key roles, performance requirements and employee career paths across operations and present feedback, provide recommendations, or lead strategic planning related to learning challenges with executive-level leaders
  • Collaborate closely with internal subject matter experts across the organization to complete needs assessment, allocate resources, monitor progress and keep stakeholders informed
  • Project manage the planning, designing and building of learning solutions that includes facilitator-led workshops, individual and group coaching and development and asynchronous learning opportunities leveraging a variety of mediums, including but not limited to, e-learning, PowerPoint, Paycom's Learning Management system, Zoom and WebEx, leader activities, etc.
  • Delegate responsibilities effectively to ensure professional learning content is developed accurately and on time and consistently audited for necessary updates
  • Partner with members of Learning and Development for the creation and maintenance of course curriculum
  • Influence and support large-scale change management efforts within operations
  • Track, analyze and report on learner performance and the direct impact on business results from training programs
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders to further support employee development, product usage and/or business ROI

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree

Experience:

  • 4 years of experience in a role related to project management, consulting, learning, training or HR


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, Communications or related field

Skills/Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to present information in a clear, concise, and confident manner in a virtual or in-person environment to a variety of audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully develop and deliver training programs and solutions utilizing skills and knowledge in instructional design, adult learning principles, program design, and training technologies
  • Demonstrated project and program management experience: organization, time management, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and adapt to change quickly
  • Self-sufficient, motivated and able to work independently and as part of team;
  • Ability to collaborate, build trust, negotiate, influence and resolve conflict with peers, stakeholders and business unit leaders
  • Ability to simplify the complex, identify the root cause, present a solution, gain buy-in and implement the solution effectively
  • Ability to read, analyze data and communicate informed needs and decisions to peers, learners, stakeholder, and front-line leaders
  • Ability to create and deliver an easy-to-understand learning experience by converting complex processes, procedures, and technology into clear and concise presentations and visuals
  • Proven ability to effectively and professionally communicate in visual, verbal and written form
  • Proven ability to operate and navigate role and projects in a matrixed environment of department and business unit leaders
  • Experience and ability to work easily and effectively with a wide range of people demonstrating high emotional intelligence
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic, be willing to work flexible hours including evening and weekend, overnight travel to events
  • Proficient in Zoom and Microsoft Office
