Facilities Housekeeper/Driver

Full-time (32-40 hrs./week)

Pawmetto Lifeline is a non-profit animal rescue who strives towards the goal of a no-kill community and state through adoption, pet retention, rescue partnerships, and medical services. Schedule: Work days will vary and include weekends

• Must have a valid SC Driver's License
• Transport animals to and from other counties in SC
• Pick up food and supplies for the animals and the building
• Clean, dust, and wipe furniture
• Sweep, mop, and/or vacuum floors
• Empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers
• Restock disposables in areas (e.g. soap, hand sanitizer, etc.)
• Wash walls and equipment
• Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies
• Wash accessible interior and exterior windows
• Assist in keeping the property maintained
• Light bulb maintenance
• Handle recycling materials
• Reports any damages to the building to the Director of Facilities
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Must be able to work around dogs and cats each day
• Wash dishes
• Wash, dry and fold laundry
• Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedure
• Other duties as assigned

Prior cleaning service or custodial experience is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.00 - $13.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Custodial: 1 year (Preferred)
• box truck driving: 1 year (Required)
• Cleaning: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:
