At Paw Pleasers, we are proud to be San Diego's original dog bakery, established in 1992. Adapting to evolving customer needs has been our hallmark since the beginning. Our joy lies in crafting unique cakes and bakery goods as well as specialty toys that set us apart from other pet supply shops in the area. In 2022, we opened our second location on Third Avenue in Chula Vista. We are looking for a sales associate to help us expand and grow both stores.

Animal Lover Wanted
Dog & Cat Loving sales associate wanted to join our team at The Original Paw Pleasers Bakery. Outgoing, enthusiastic personality, comfortable being around dogs and cats, 2-3 shifts, 10-20 hours per week including weekdays and weekends. This is a permanent Part Time position (not seasonal). Please mention any animal experience in a cover letter (owned, worked with etc).

Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers and their pets
• Sell products and services to customers

Qualifications:

• Previous retail sales experience a must (Pet/Animal Retail desired)
• Schedule will be a combination of weekday and weekend shifts
• Ability to write on a cake helpful
• Ability to build rapport with customers and their pets
• Dog and/or cat ownership (prior or present) desired
• This is a permanent part time position (not seasonal)
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
