We are looking for a Porter/Maintenance Tech to take care of our building and carry out cleaning, maintenance and security duties.

The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition. We're searching for someone who is a self starter, can manage themselves, and complete assigned work without requiring supervision.

Shift:

Day: 6:30am - 3pm

Job Duties:

• Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
• Repairing equipment: Fixing machines, plumbing, heating, wiring, and other systems
• Carrying out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
• Working with contractors: Sharing site-specific knowledge
• Empty trash and recycling bins
• Washing and clean windows and mirrors
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Ensures that the facility is locked after business hours
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff
• Follow all health and safety regulations

Requirements and Skills

• Proven working experience in cleaning & maintenance
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Ability to lift heavy items/equipment
• Good communication skills
• Excellent time-management skills
• Integrity and ability to work independently
• Open to work shifting schedules and late nights
• High school completion

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
