- Approaches, greet and offers assistance or direction to any customers that enter the dealership showroom or lot.
- Assists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
- Perform walk-around with customers and explains fully product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
- Describes all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
- Often test drives to all prospects, follows dealership procedure to obtain proper identification from customer prior to test drive.
- Effectively close automotive sales.
- Utilizes dealership sales control and follow up systems that encourages repeat business and referrals.
- Exhibit high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories., and their benefits to customers.
- Reports to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, reviews, analyses and planned activities.
- Attends training and sales meetings offered by the dealership and manufactures.
- Minimum of a H.S Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Possess understanding and knowledge of equity and values, automobile depreciation, and local, state and federal laws that guild automobiles.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Professional dress sense that portrays neat and smart personality.
- Must be able to sell minimum quota according to dealership standards.
- At least one year of sales or vehicle sales experience
