Paul Transportation, Inc. is searching for a dynamic, innovative, and collaborative Logistic Coordinator (Carrier manager ) team member who is committed to solving our customers’ challenges for our Brokerage division located in Irvine, CA.

As a Carrier Manager Representative in the transportation industry, you will provide truckload Brokerage services for Paul Logistics clients, focusing on specialized modes including flatbed, hot shot, drayage, expedited, and over-dimensional shipments. Along with your teammates, you will be responsible for creating and continuing customer and carrier loyalty, stimulating growth and partnership, enhancing profitability, and prioritizing excellence in the execution of services and customer experience.
Functions and Duties:

• Develop and maintain relationships with transportation carriers, negotiating rates and contracts as needed
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop carrier strategies to support those needs
• Monitor carrier performance, providing feedback and coaching to ensure compliance with company standards
• Analyze carrier performance data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize carrier utilization and efficiency
• Monitor market trends and industry developments to stay up-to-date on changes in the transportation industry
• Manage carrier compliance and ensure that all carriers meet regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain accurate records and documentation related to carrier management

Fundamental Credentials:

• Minimum of 1 year of brokerage experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not essential
• Proven experience in capacity planning or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mcleod Software experience, DAT, Truckertools
• Knowledge of the Transportation industry, supply chain, and logistics operation
• Strong communication skills, ability to influence, and demonstrate sound business judgment.
• Superior customer service and relationship-building skills
• Experience with capacity planning software and tools
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment •
• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements
