We have an opening for a Data Insights and Visualization Developer.

This role is within the Information Technology Department and will support the Firm's data analytics and data visualization efforts. This individual will be consulting with business areas and leadership to drive strategic data-informed decisions by creating intuitive dashboards, on-demand data views and translating data into actionable intelligence.

In this capacity, the Data Insights and Visualization Developer will:

  • Develop reports, dashboards utilizing Tableau/Power BI, SQL, SSAS, Excel, and other tools;
  • Drive advancements in the Firm's reporting, data visualization and analysis capabilities;
  • Provide reports, data visualizations, and reporting packages for Firm leadership and management to use in decision making;
  • Summarize analytical results and effectively communicate to stakeholders at various levels across the firm;
  • Perform requirements gathering and interpret data needs. Design, develop and deploy analytical tools to improve and optimize business decisions;
  • Have knowledge of data and process mining and the ability to apply this knowledge to large volumes of data to reach meaningful conclusions;
  • Work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction; take action when answers to a problem are not readily apparent;
  • Manage recurring deliverables in accordance with agreed upon specifications and set deadlines;
  • Balance and prioritize tasks and projects based on deadlines or the importance and urgency.

Proficiencies:

  • Advanced level proficiency in Tableau and Power BI;
  • Experience with SQL, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS and Alteryx;
  • Intermediate plus proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Experience working in a Law Firm (strongly preferred);
  • Experience with accounting data is a plus;
  • Capability to learn and follow Firm and practice-area-specific procedures and terminology;
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree;
  • At least 5 years of data analytics and reporting experience.

The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $98,400 and a maximum of $142,600 annually. The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or other relevant factors.
