The Contents Technician delivers exceptional customer care through emergency and restoration services. The technician is an initial responder to homes and businesses experiencing property and contents damage. This person has a passion for creating calm out of chaos and does so in less-than-ideal conditions. As a contents technician, the individual spends time on-site; assessing, organizing, inventorying, packaging and moving contents to the Paul Davis contents facility. Technicians also help with structural cleaning of the building. Once at the contents facility, contents are cleaned following industry approved cleaning processes and standards. Upon cleaning, the contents team prepares for the contents pack-back and celebrates in returning the customers once affected items.

Examples of Assigned Work Areas: Multi-story homes and businesses including attics, basements and crawl spaces. Strength requires the ability to exert force 20 - 100 lbs. frequently or 10 - 40 lbs. constantly. May involve significant standing/walking/crouching/pushing and or pulling.
Physical Demands: Frequent bending over, crouching, handling, smelling and hearing. Ability to use proper lifting techniques while lifting and moving contents boxes <30.
