Patuxent Orthodontics is Hiring a Dental Sterilization Tech (PT) Near Hollywood, MD

Dental Sterilization Tech - Part-Time, NO Experience Required.
Orthodontic office in need of a Sterilization Technician. The position is PT, 2-3 days per week from 8:30 am-5:00 pm. Willing to train the right person but dental experience is a plus, $15.00-$16.00 per hour. Must be a people person who is detailed oriented, has a positive attitude, and enjoys working in a team environment!
The overall job of a Sterilization Technician is to ensure that all equipment is sterile, clean, and equipment is readily available for delivering patient care.
Some common sterile processing technician job duties include:

Preparing equipment and instruments for decontamination.
Disinfecting solid clinical areas and turnover for the next patient.
Operating equipment to clean, disinfect and decontaminate instruments, devices, and equipment.
Inspecting instruments and equipment for signs of damage and wear and tear.
Unpacking, checking, and stocking new equipment, instruments, and devices.
Delivering equipment and supplies to all areas of the facility.
Maintaining accurate records of when items undergo sterilization.
Monitoring temperature and humidity conditions within storage areas.
