Job description
Our Online Garden Center, Garden Goods Direct is looking for a Customer Call Center Associate. We are looking for a friendly, inquisitive professional who will work in our busy call-center environment. This person will be responsible for responding in a timely fashion to customer inquiries regarding order status, inventory, payments and problem resolution. We sell plants online so the knowledge and love of all things plants would be a big bonus but not a deal breaker. What we are really looking for is someone who will learn and grow with us as we become the Nation's Best Online Garden Center.
Requirements and skills
Previous experience in a customer support role helpful
Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
Ability to multitask, set priorities and manage time effectively
Call Center Representative responsibilities include:
Managing inbound and outbound calls and emails in a timely manner
Identifying customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and providing solutions
Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise
Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile
Keep records of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensible way
Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets
