Junior System Administrator - onsite Job, 1 Year Experience
In this critical role, you'll be the backbone of our IT infrastructure, playing a vital role in ensuring our technology operates at peak efficiency.
Here's what you'll do:
Tech Mastermind: Maintain, upgrade, and manage our software, hardware, and networks, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.
Troubleshooting Hero: Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity for our users.
Security Champion: Implement and maintain robust security measures to safeguard our systems from potential threats.
Data Defender: Develop and implement reliable data backup and recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
Automation Expert (Bonus): Utilize scripting languages (Python, Perl, etc.) to automate routine tasks and streamline processes.
To be successful, you'll need:
Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or a similar role.
A solid understanding of databases, networks (LAN/WAN), and patch management best practices.
Working knowledge of system security concepts (intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery strategies.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with users and interdisciplinary teams.
A Bachelor of Science/Arts degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
A professional certification (e.g., MCSA) is a plus.
