Patriotic Pig BBQ started out in 2016 as a BBQ caterer. We've become very well known as one of the premier wedding caterers in the DFW area catering over 500 weddings per year. We've grown fast since 2016, going from caterer, to food truck, to a restaurant in North Richland Hills. We are looking for passionate Pit Crew Members that want the opportunity to grow with us and continue to learn more. Our Pit Crew position is a unique job and consists of:

• Starting and maintaining our large outdoor smokers.
• Trimming and seasoning our proteins.
• Assist with making our house-made sausage.
• Preparing sauces and rubs for future use.
• Assisting with the unloading of heavy cases of food from our delivery truck and placing them in our walk-in cooler and dry storage areas.
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of our food truck
• Breaking down boxes and helping to take out trash.
• Maintaining a sanitary workspace throughout the day.
• Assisting with the cleaning of our smokers on a weekly basis.

The ideal candidate is passionate about BBQ and has 3 years of experience working in the Craft BBQ arena, (Not Dickey's, Spring Creek or Hard 8). They are reliable, punctual, and self-motivated. They must be able to multitask while still upholding our high standards of quality and cleanliness. The ideal candidate is someone that truly loves seeing the rewards of his or her work on a day to day basis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-22.00 per hour (Possibly more if you have extensive Craft BBQ experience)

Preferred Experience:

• BBQ Restaurant Kitchen Experience: 2 years

Requirements

• Must have or be able to pass a Food Handlers Exam within 7 days of starting
• Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to pass a background check
