Responsibilities

• Collaborates with healthcare team to assess, plan, and evaluate care for mothers and infants
• Maintains a safe, clean environment and provides hygiene assistance to mothers
• Monitors and addresses postpartum health, pain, and emotional well-being
• Ensures bonding between mother and infant and monitors vital signs
• Provides breastfeeding, nipple care, infant care, and education to mothers
• Performs infant assessments, including weight checks and heel sticks
• Engages families in best practices for mother and infant care
• Accurately records care information and completes assigned duties as required
• Complete general nursing duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Active RN state license
• Valid drivers’ license
• Two or more years of applicable nursing experience
