Patriot Emergency Medical Services is Hiring an EMT Field Supervisor - Atlanta Operations Near Atlanta, GA

Job Posting: EMT Supervisor (Full Time) Location: Atlanta, GA

Department: Operations FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Patriot EMS is seeking a full-time EMS Supervisor to serve as an assistant and relief to the Operations Supervisor.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and approve task performance for assigned personnel
  • Monitor performance, correct errors, and provide training and feedback
  • Evaluate performance and submit written/verbal reports as required
  • Perform audit and inspection duties (e.g., check reports, issue supplies, inspect vehicles and stations)
  • Provide informal counseling to peers and co-workers, when needed
  • Represent the company at outside organizations, agencies, facilities, and special events
  • Attend Operations staff meetings and other required meetings
  • Deliver high-quality patient care and customer service on emergency and non-emergency calls
  • Assist Operations Supervisor with station and shift duties as needed
  • Support the Education and Training Department in orientation and continuing education programs
  • Adhere to EMT Supervisor and EMT job descriptions
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by senior administration

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and ability to interpret them for others
  • Problem-solving, teaching, and motivational abilities
  • Professional and courteous cooperation with co-workers, customers, public, and governmental agencies
  • Knowledge of local, regional, state, and federal laws and regulations for EMS and ambulance operations
  • Counseling and instructing skills
  • Minimum 12 months active experience as a prehospital provider
  • Flexibility in work schedule

Physical Requirements:

  • Meet physical requirements listed in the Core Job Functions and Qualifications Standards for Field Operations Personnel
