Description

To assist the BSA Officer with the implementation and administration of all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act compliance program and assist with various assignments supporting the Compliance Program of the bank, under the guidance of the VP, BSA / Fraud Officer. This position performs various quality control reviews and monitoring pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering Program, OFAC, and Customer Identification Program compliance, using industry standard and regulatory guidance to ensure the Bank’s compliance efforts are maintained daily. 

• Assist the BSA Officer in leading the BSA Payments team.
• Provide reporting and metrics to the BSA Officer on a regular basis.
• Perform daily reviews of all assigned alerts related to digital payment transactions for suspicious patterns and activity and escalate cases that may require additional research and prepare Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) if required. 
• Ensuring all BSA/AML Payments policies and procedures align with Bank policy and industry best practices.
• Assist with collecting information for annual audits and regulatory exams.
• Work with the BSA Officer and internal and external Strategic Partners to ensure all federal and state laws and regulations, along with the Bank’s policies and procedures are met.
• Conduct Reputational Due Diligence Reports for Co-Brands submitted from the bank’s program managers.
• Manage the oversight testing for all program managers for completeness and accuracy. This includes ensuring all supporting documentation is received in a timely manner; Conducting quality assurance reviews on transaction monitoring, KYC, and OFAC; Analyzing test findings and develop plans to correct weaknesses; Monitor and track implementation of identified findings; and report all testing results to the BSA Officer and Payments Management Committee. 
• Performs other duties that may be assigned.

Experience

• 3 to 5 years compliance/AML experience.
• General computer skills, proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of bank and AML regulations.
• Basic knowledge of payment cards.

Education

• Two years of business experience and/or relevant experience.
• CAMS certification is a plus.
