DESCRIPTION:

PE is looking to fill a CBRN Analyst (Senior) – Integrator (Biological) position to support the Joint Requirements Office for CBRN Defense. This analyst will integrate efforts across the Services, Combatant Commands, and other DoD organizations within the biological portfolio of capability requirement programs. This position directly benefits the Warfighter by supporting the linking of Joint and Multi-Service CBRND Defense requirements to today's dynamic concepts of operation and participates in the support framework for the JRO-CBRND to develop Joint requirements. The CBRN Analyst leads CBRN defense Joint Capability and Integration System (JCIDS) requirements development, both materiel and non-materiel. The senior-level CBRN Analyst also supports the CBDP POM process.

Primary duties will include (but not limited to): 

• Responsible for developing Joint operational requirements by drafting, staffing and adjudicating requirements documents in accordance with the JCIDS Manual prior to entering them into KM/DS.
• Oversee the Analyses of Alternatives and develop requirements documents in coordination with stakeholder representatives.
• Organize and conduct at least quarterly, an Integrated Concept Team (ICT) meeting with all relevant stakeholders and draft and provide minutes.
• Develop and complete Joint Staff Action Packages using Task Management Tool (TMT) to accomplish tasks.
• Provide CBRN advice to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Service personnel as needed.
• Provide support as a subject matter expert in relevant field of experience.
• Provide senior-level briefings.
• Prepare regular reports on various identified technical issues.
• Obtain and maintain any security clearances, status or licenses required by client to perform work.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Conversant with JCIDS and have had at least five (5) years’ experience on a Joint and/or Service staff. Joint Staff and/or JCIDS experience is highly desired.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• At least 15 years of relevant technical area experience (comparable to a retired O-5/W-5 or above or a former GS-14 or above).
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline. Possession of an earned MS/MA degree in an appropriate discipline is highly desired.
• Experience in CBRN Defense is highly desired.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: This is a normal office working environment.
