We are seeking a skilled Residential Construction Field Superintendent to drive excellence for projects with 5 or more employees and multiple subcontractors of various trades (excavation, framing, drywall, painting, and all finish trades). Reporting to the VP of Contracting, you will oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The Commercial Construction Field Superintendent will:

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, subcontractor management, and material procurement.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being performed according to quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Construction project manager
• Communicate all extra work/change orders to Corporate Headquarters.
• Take ownership of the safety of crews and continually check for safety throughout the course of the project from start to closeout.
• Ensure that all forms and site training is performed
• Enforce quality standards and professionalism to eliminate paint failure, rework, safety hazards, and loss of production.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to field staff, promoting professional development and growth

Requirements for the Construction Field Superintendent :

• 2-4 years field experience in the Construction industry
• Experience multiple subcontractors of various trades .
• Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, and schematics.
• Complete homes and all customer walk-through items prior to closing.
• Understanding of the hazards, rules, laws, ordinances, and codes relevant to the construction industry and the necessary safety precautions related to the work.
• Can comprehend and understand these documents to determine the exact scope of work or changes to the scope of work.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Procore Construction Management app.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
